6 Year Old Child is Ejected from Vehicle

Virginia (May 27, 2011) Lee Soloman, of Petersburg, is facing a DUI after a serious accident with a tractor-trailer on Friday night when a 6 year old child that was not properly restrained was ejected from his vehicle.

According to the State police, Lee Soloman, was driving his 2007 Pontiac G-6, in the northbound lanes of I-95 when he struck a tractor-trailer, causing his vehicle to flip. Joyce Blowe was in the front passenger seat wearing a seat belt. The 6 year-old child in the back seat, not properly restrained and ejected during the collision. Both the child and Joyce Blowe were flown to VCU Medical Center.

The driver of the Tractor-trailer was not injured. It appears alcohol and speed were a factor in the accident.
