Car Plunges into Lake in Florida

Florida (July 19, 2011)  Two Good Samaritans saved a woman when her car plunged into a lake after being hit by another vehicle on Interstate 95.  According to the Florida Highway patrol, Henriette Saintvil was driving south on I-95 in a Chevrolet Impala just north of Exit 41 around 3 p.m. when her vehicle was struck by a Mercury Sable.  James Ross Maden, the driver of the Mercury Sable was attempting to make a lane change when the crash happened.  The impact caused both vehicles to leave the right side of Interstate 95.  The Mercury Sable collided with a chain link fence before hitting a tree.  Henriette Saintvil’s vehicle plowed through a chain link fence, plunging into the lake.  Thankfully, two passing motorist, quickly stopped and dove into the water to pull Henriette Saintvil out of her sinking vehicle.
