Cars ignite on I-95 in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania (August 1, 2012)  Three people were hurt in an accident on I-95 in Delaware County.  The crash occurred close to 10:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Exit 5-Kerlin Street according to Police.

It is unclear how the accident occurred but preliminary reports suggest that one vehicle did not stop for traffic and crashed into another vehicle.  The force of the impact caused the vehicle to flip over and ignite into flames.

The three victims were taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center.  The extent of their injuries are unknown.

The accident is under investigation.
