Fatal Motorcycle Accident on I-95 in Florida
Florida (September 28, 2012) A fatal motorcycle accident happened on Interstate 95 in Hollywood. The crash occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. Friday morning at the exit ramp of Exit 20-SR 820 (Hollywood Boulevard) on I-95 North according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Virgilio Ricardo Patalano was riding his 2008 BMW motorbike when for some unknown reason he rear-ended a 1998 Toyota Avalon. The impact caused Patalano to be thrown from his bike.
Patalano, a 55-year-old man from Miami, was pronounced dead at Memorial Regional Hospital.
He was not wearing a helmet.
The accident is under investigation.
