Deadly Five Vehicle Accident on I-95

Florida (October 19, 2011)  A motorcyclist was fatality injured in a five vehicle accident on I-95 South Wednesday morning.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol the crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. near Exit 29–Sunrise Boulevard.

Eric Charles Alcazar, was driving a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle south on I-95 when he rear-ended a BMW, driven by Tina Maria Galliner.  The force of the collision ejected Alcazar from his bike causing him to land on the Interstate where he was struck by Toyota Sequoia.  The driver of the Sequioa, Moubelyn Tugaoen, was then rear-ended by a Honda Pilot, driven by Nadege Toussaint.

Jessica Salazar, driving a Hyundai Santa Fe was not able to stop in time and struck the unoccupied Yamaha motorcycle.

Eric Charles Alcazar, 33, was rushed to Broward General Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

Authorities closed Interstate 95 south for 3 hours.

The Florida Highway Patrol are investigating the fatal accident.
