Massachusetts (February 5, 2012)  A Peabody man was killed in a rollover crash on Route 128 in Danvers.  The fatal crash occurred at 7:59 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 128 at Route 35, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

Reginaldo Dasilva Souza, was pronounced deceased at the scene.  He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.  Sidney Gomes Dasilva sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital, he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Two lanes of Route 128 were closed for over an hour and a half as police and rescue teams worked the accident site.

The Massachusetts State Police are still investigating the fatal accident but believe excessive speed was a factor.  Police are also trying to determine if alcohol was a factor.
