Elderly Couple Injured In Two Car Collision on I-95

New Jersey  (November 28,2011) An elderly couple was injured in a two car crash that occurred late Monday morning on Interstate 95 south. According to New Jersey State Police, at approximately 11 a.m. two silver sedans collided.  The two cars careened off the highway into a wooded area close to the Princeton Pike Corporate Center.

The elderly couple’s car crashed head-on into a tree; the other car crashed into a chain-link fence.

EMTs and Lawrence Township firefighters were at the accident scene to aid with the injured couple. They were transported to a nearby hospital in different ambulances.  The extent of their injuries are unknown. No other injuries were reported.

New Jersey State Police are investigating the accident.
