Extreme Speeding Causes Single Vehicle Accident

Peabody, Massachusetts (April 5, 2011) – Due to extreme speeding, two teenagers were seriously injured earlier this morning in a rollover accident. A 15-year-old female passenger and Chad Mancini, a 19-year-old male driver, were both transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for serious injuries. Massachusetts State Police report that Mancini was excessively speeding in his 2004 Chevrolet Malibu on a ramp when he lost control, hit a guardrail twice, rolled over, then stopped on the shoulder. The female passenger was ejected from the vehicle.

Police officials report that neither Mancini and the female driver were wearing seat belts.
