Fatality in single car crash in Florida

Florida (March 13,2012)  A 40-year-old woman from Homestead was killed in a single-vehicle accident on I-95 in Volusia County.  The crash occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m.on Interstate 95 North, near exit 249 SR 44, according to FHP.

Blynda Murray was driving a 2002 Chevrolet truck when she tried to go around another vehicle and then attempted to brake for slower traffic to avoid an accident.  As a result she lost control of the Chevy and veered off I-95 flipping over and hitting a tree.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  She was wearing her seat belt.
The accident is still under investigation.
