Four injured in rollover accident

Florida (August 12, 2011)  According to the Florida Highway Patrol four people were injured around 2:45 p.m. in a rollover crash on Interstate 95 south between Exits 231.  The van went off the interstate and rolled down an embankment trapping two adults.

Brevard County Fire-Rescue had to extricate the two adults from the wreckage, two children in the van sustained minor injures. A medical helicopter was unable to respond to the scene due to poor weather conditions.

All four victims were transported by ambulance Holmes Regional Medical Center.

The right lane of I-95 south was blocked as Florida Highway Patrol investigates the cause of the accident and the rescue effort took place.
