Hit and Run Accident on I-95

Pennsylvania (October 24, 2011)  A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit and run accident on I-95 south.  According to the State Police was driving his Honda motorcycle south on I-95 around 1:25 p.m. when a Mitsubishi Eclipse attempted to change lanes and struck Robert J. Knobbs.  Knobbs was thrown from his motorcycle and sent sliding along the roadway.

The Honda Motorcycle came to rest in the median.  Robert J. Knobbs sustained several lacerations, fractured ribs and was transported to the hospital.  He was wearing a helmet and safety gear at the time of the accident.

The driver of the black Mitsubishi Eclipse did not stop at the scene.
