I-95 Accident Kills Spring Breaker

Ormond Beach, Florida (March 26, 2011) – Six passengers were traveling southbound on I-95 when their SUV rolled over.

Jee Choi, from Northvale, NJ, was ejected from the 1998 Land Rover and pronounced dead at at the scene. Florida Highway Patrol officials report that the driver of the car, Kayla Graham of Honolulu, HI, lost control of her car, over corrected, causing the vehicle to roll over.

Another SUV passenger, 21-year-old Valerie Corvino of NY, was ejected and trapped underneath a vehicle. She was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, and is reported to be in critical condition.

Graham (driver), along with 21-year-old NJ resident, Christiana Aliprando, and CA resident, Anya Rosen (also 21-years-old) are reported to have suffered minor injuries.

Also traveling in the vehicle was 20-year-old NY resident, Jeremy Philipson. He was unharmed in the accident.

Police officials believe that alcohol was not a factor in the fatal car accident.
