Jaws of Life rescues victim

Massachusetts (September 14,2011) According to Massachusetts State Police a car accident occurred Wednesday afternoon requiring the Jaws of Life to extricate the victim from the vehicle.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. near Exit 5 on Interstate 95 North. The driver, a 19 year-old female, was traveling north when for an unknown reason she veered off the highway crashing into trees leaving the driver stuck inside the vehicle.

The driver was injured and taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

The accident left two lanes closed causing traffic to build up.

The crash remains under investigation.
