Connecticut (May 2, 2012) A man was killed in an apparent suicide jump on Interstate 95 in Fairfield County. At approximately 8 p.m. the man jumped to his death near exit 27 A, which is the Route 25 /Route 8-Trumbull, Waterbury exit according to Connecticut State Police.
The victim left his vehicle on the 8/25 overpass and jumped 18 to 21 feet into the left lane of I-95 northbound lane. Three cars hit the 28-year-old man from Bridgeport. He died at the scene. As a result of the incident the left lane of I-95N was closed for three hours.
The incident is under investigation.
