I was witness to this man having come off his motorcycle at Exit 51/S at about 1:15pm on July 9th and saw him land across the right lane. I stopped my car behind him with the hope that no one would subsequently hit him and then moved over to the exit stripes when the traffic behind stopped. I stayed with him for a time as my wife called 911 (they were already aware in the minute it took to connect) and as quite a number of other people gathered to try to help him – mainly by keeping him stable. I was profoundly moved to see this man hit the pavement in this way and to see him injured so. I would very much like to know his condition.

We were there, too. I’m hoping if there’s no news, that perhaps he is recovering? I sincerely hope so.
