Motorcycle Wipe Out Kills Rider on I-95 Ramp

Georgia (June 21, 2011) The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Major Accident Investigations Team closed the on-ramp to Interstate 95 for several hours as they investigated the cause of a motorcycle accident.  According to Authorities the incident happened Tuesday evening around 9:30 p.m. when Roosevelt Dunn lost control of his Harley Davidson on the on-ramp to I-95 South, he was thrown to the pavement.  A second Motorcycle Rider was unable to avoid striking Dunn, the second rider was tossed from his bike.  The Second bike then collided with a vehicle.  Roosevelt Dunn was transported to Memorial University Health Medical Center where he died from his injuries.  The Second rider was also taken to the Hospital and listed as serious but stable.
