Motorcyclist Seriously Injured on I-95

Delaware (October 6, 2011)  According to the Delaware State Police around 9:30 p.m. a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on I-95.  The rider, Joshua Kinser was traveling north on the elevated ramp of I-95 at Exit 6- MLK Blvd when he crashed his Yamaha X-17 motorcycle into the concrete wall.  Kinser was thrown from his bike, over the barrier wall and plunged 40 feet onto the roadway.

Joshua Kinser sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center.

Kinser was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating this accident and believe alcohol may be a contributing factor.
