Tractor-Trailer Causes Chain Reaction Accident On I-95

Virginia (June 28, 2011)  Update:  A New Jersey trucker driver was charged when the Tractor-Trailer he was driving plowed into the rear of an SUV on Interstate 95.  The Tractor-trailer slammed the rear of the SUV so hard that it was pushed into two other vehicles.  The crash forced the Virginia State police to shut down all southbound lanes for about an hour.  No serious injuries were reported.  The operator of the Tractor-trailer, Alberto Daldessandro, was charged with following too closely

Mutli-Vehicle Accident Closes Northbound I-95

Virginia (June 28, 2011) The northbound lanes of I-95 were closed near Exit 130 in Fredericksburg.  The accident happened just before 5 p.m. resulting in a 3 mile traffic jam.  Authorities reopened the northbound lanes of I-95 around 5:45 p.m.
