One Killed in rollover crash

Connecticut (August 11,2011)-Connecticut State Police report an early morning crash , about 4 a.m., involving one vehicle.

The accident happened on Interstate 95 southbound between exits 3 and 2.

According to the Connecticut State Police, 23 year-0ld Michael Defruscio struck a construction cone and lost control of his Infiniti.  The vehicle then crashed into the concrete median and rolled over.

Two passengers,  Samuel Lebreton and Owen Burke were injured and taken to Stamford Hospital.  The driver, Michael Defruscio was transported to Greenwich Hospital where he died.

At 6 a.m., a state police dispatcher at Troop G said the highway will most likely be closed for one to two more hours as an investigation and cleanup continues.

According to Police, both I-95 southbound between exits 3 and 2 , and the left lane of I-95 northbound are also closed because of debris that spilled over the center median.
