Overturned Tractor-Trailer spills Fuel on I-95

North Carolina (June 10, 2011)  One lane of Interstate 95 was shut down for about three hours at Exit 46 when a Tractor Trailer flipped on its side.  The driver, Paris Fleurant was attempting to enter I-95 from N.C. 87, when it ran off the ramp causing the accident.  It was deemed a hazmat situation as crews cleaned up a small amount of fuel that spilled, in addition to some liquid from the refrigeration unit.  According to Highway Patrol speed was a factor.  Paris Fleurant, was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with injuries.  He was also charged with careless and reckless driving.
