Overturned Vehicle Injures Four on I-95 south

Connecticut (November 11, 2011)  Four people were injured in a rollover accident on I-95 late Friday nigh in Westport.  According to Police the crash occurred around 10:30 on I-95 near Exit 18 when the vehicle went off the right side of Interstate.  Four people were ejected from the vehicle as it traveled down an embankment, overturning several times before coming to rest in a ditch.

Authorities closed one lane of I-95 as the Connecticut State Police, Westport Police and the Westport EMS responded to the scene.

The driver and three passengers were injured and transported to Norwalk Hospital.

All lanes of I-95 were re-opened around 11:30.
The Connecticut State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
