Passenger Van Rolls Over, 10 Injured

Florida (October 4, 2011)  Ten students from the Clara White Mission were injured when their passenger van overturned on I-95 around noon.  The Ford passenger van was traveling south near Exit 349 when the crash occurred.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the van spun around and rolled over on the curve of I-95.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, closing the southbound lanes as rescue personnel assisted the victims.  Ten of the thirteen people were injured and transported to various hospitals.  One person remains hospitalized with serious injuries.  The Ford Van was a total loss.

All lanes of I-95 were re-opened around 1 p.m.
