Pedestrian struck and killed on I-95 in Florence

South Carolina (July 29, 2011)  According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Leon Brailey was struck and killed while walking on Interstate 95 around 2:30 a.m. near Exit 164 / US 52.  The fatal accident occurred on the southbound side of I-95, when Leon Brailey fatality struck, the vehicle did not stop.

Two lanes of Interstate 95 have been shut down as the South Carolina Highway Patrol investigates the scene. Traffic is congested in the area with only one lane open.
