Pickup Overturns And Is Struck By Car on I-95

Massachusetts (September 27, 2011)  An early morning crash on I-95 north injured two people in Sharon.  According to Massachusetts State Police the accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. when a pickup truck overturned near Exit 9 and was struck by another vehicle on Interstate 95 north.

Jonathan M. Hall was traveling north on I-95 in a Ford F150 when he lost control of the vehicle.  The Ford F150 struck a guard rail and overturned, coming to rest on its roof.  The pick up was then struck by a Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Yanglai Ana Klengdong.

It took rescuers close to an hour to free Jonathan M. Hall from the wreckage.  Hall was seriously injured and transported to Boston Medical Center.  The driver of the Jetta, Yanglai Ana Klengdong was also injured and transported to the hospital.

Authorities closed portions of I-95 as crews worked on the victims and to clean up the debris,  all lanes were re-opened by 2:30 a.m.

The Massachusetts State Police are investigating the accident.
