Rear-end Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

Maine (September 30, 2011)  A driver rear-ended a pickup truck on I-95 that was stopped in traffic as a result of an earlier crash.  According to the Maine State Police one lane of I-95 south was closed because of a single vehicle accident near Exit 180.  Galen Hopkins, driving a Toyota Corolla did not notice the stop traffic and slammed into the rear of a Chevrolet pickup truck.

84 year-old Galen Hopkins and his wife, Pauline sustained minor injuries and were transported to St. Joseph Hospital.  William Smith, the driver of the pickup was not injured.
