I was there to witness that accident. It was like watching a 3-D movie. I was driving south and he was driving north when somehow he was on the grass area between the two and he hit a large mound and started flipping 5 or 6 times and was heading for our lane when he came to a stop upside down on the guard rail under a bridge. I pulled over and called 911 and I helped keep the traffic away until help arrived about 8 to 10 minutes later. The person in the vehicle was moving and I hope that he will be Okay.

      Dear Ray

on behalf of the family I would like to thank you for your help that day and your concern. My nephew, Bobby is in a hospital in Boston with a guarded prognosis. All of the family is devistated by this accident. His imediate family have been traveling to the hospital from Maine and staying there for days at a time, returning home only when they have to. Bobby was returning home after work. He had complained of not feeling well that morning and that the heat was bothering him. Please keep him and his familly in your prayers. Thanks again

      Ray,
I’m Bobbys cousin and reading your letter explaining how you stayed on the scene to divert the traffic and keep an eye on my little cousin moved me to tears. You are an awesome man and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing the right thing. Not enough people do, most are afraid to get involved. It makes me feel better to know that Bobby was not alone during this and I’m sure he sensed that someone was there watching over him – Thank you and God Bless you.
