RV Trailer Overturns over on I-95

New Hampshire (September 16, 2011)  A Rockwood trailer overturned on I-95 north around 5 p.m. causing traffic delays in Greenland.  According to the New Hampshire State Police a Mercury SUV was towing a 2011 Rockwood trailer in the northbound lanes of I-95 near exit 3 when another vehicle cut off the SUV.

The driver of the Mercury SUV, a female, swerved to avoid a collision causing the trailer to unhitch and rollover.  The trailer rolled over in the right median, sustaining extensive damage, the Mercury SUV did not overturn.

The driver of the Mercury and her passenger were not injured.

Traffic on I-95 north was backed up for several hours as crews worked the crash site.

State Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident or have information regarding the incident to please contact them.

The New Hampshire State Police is investigating the accident.
