Ryder truck overturns killing driver

Florida (August 19, 2011)  According to the Florida Highway Patrol 59 year-old Arden Bean was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 north in Nassau County. 

Arden Bean was driving a Ryder rental truck and towing a vehicle northbound on I-95 around 2 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle about a mile past Exit 373-A1A.  Bean was ejected from the Ryder truck when it overturned on top of the center metal guardrail that separates the north and southbound lanes of Interstate 95.

The Arden Bean was air lifted to Shands Jacksonville were he was pronounced dead.

The Florida Highway Patrol closed the left lanes of Interstate 95 in each direction for several hours as they conducted the investigation.
