Single Car Crash kills former Mayor of Kingsland

Georgia (June 12,2012)  A man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Camden County.  The accident occurred late Monday night near exit 1 in the northbound lanes of I-95 according to Georgia State Police.

Samuel “Keith” Dixon, was driving in the left lane when he lost control of his 2011 Dodge Ram pick-up truck.  As a result the truck spun over 300 feet, overturned and threw Dixon out of the Dodge, finally coming to a rest off the roadway.  The former Mayor of Kingsland was not wearing his seatbelt.  He was transported to Camden Medical Center but sadly died of his injuries. The accident is under investigation by Georgia State Police.
