State trooper injured in accident on I-95

Maryland (August 12,2011)  According to a News Report from WUSA, A Maryland State police officer was in an accident on his way to assist another officer.

The crash occurred on Interstate 95 at Route 175 in Howard County with another car. The trooper and the civilian driver suffered minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals.

The other state trooper was dealing with an unruly person who had crashed a motorcycle at the ramp from southbound Route 29 to Route 100. The motorcyclist suffered two broken legs and a broken arm from the crash.  The state trooper suffered minor injuries in dealing with the motorcyclist.
