Teen Leads Police on High Speed Chase

Virginia (July 17, 2011)  According to the Chesterfield Police a 17 year old driver led Police on a high speed chase that ended with in a crash on Interstate 95 south.  The teen, driving a Ford Mustang, allegedly made an illegal turn on Sunday night when a Chesterfield Police officer attempted to pull over the vehicle.  The Mustang would not stop and struck a fence in an attempt to elude Police.  Police deployed spike strips to stop the vehicle, which successfully flatten the tires.  The pursuit came to an end when the Mustang crashed near Exit 61.  The teenager now faces a litany of charges including DUI, driving without a license, and eluding police.
