Three Police Cars Struck on I-95

New Jersey (May 30, 2011)  Three Port Authority Police Cars were struck after they had pulled over a vehicle on suspicion that the driver was intoxicated.  The three police cars were parked on the shoulder, behind the vehicle.  The Accident occurred just after 4:30 a.m. when a Mercury Marquis, driven by Omar Roach, slammed into back of the rear police car, causing a chain-reaction collision.

Other police were summoned to assist with the accident.  Four Officers were taken to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center with neck and back injuries.  According to Police both drivers were charged with DWI.
