Maryland (August 17, 2012) A tractor-trailer driver was killed in an accident on Interstate 95 in Baltimore City. The crash occurred shortly before 11:00 p.m. Thursday night in the northbound lanes of I-95 at Exit 53-I395 north to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard – Downtown Baltimore, according to Baltimore City fire officials.
Gregory Bryan Watkins, was driving his tractor-trailer full of lumber when for some unknown reason he hit the jersey wall causing the semi to ignite.
Watkins, a 34-year-old man from Fort Washington, was killed in the accident.
The accident is under investigation.
