He was my friend. I could talk to him when I could not talk to anyone else, about the entertainment world. He ask me to find singers, and actors for him. I had the opportunity to put many actors, and singers, and outstanding talent in his plays. He appreciated me and I appreciated him. He will be Highly Missed. I”m going to miss the conversation, laughter, and working with him. May God Richly Bless His Family.

David and I began working together in 2005, he started writing plays for me and my organization,The Woodington Alumni. We have spent countless hours talking, sometimes about the entertainment world and other times we just talked. He was a light in mine and other livies. I never thought that I (a country girl)was capable of being on stage, or even working with the people that I got a chance to rub shoulders with. He is already a missing part of my life. My prayers are with the family. I know he is saying to the Lord, “I GOT SOMETHING TO SAY, LET ME TELL MY STORY.”

To the Payton Family, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your loved one. He had recently acquired a unique place in my heart. His “kindness” stood tall above everything he had achieved in life. I cannot begin to put into words the “love and compassion” he had for his family. Not a day went by without my hearing him say, “My Family” He and I had just begin what was such a wonderful relationship built solely on our “trust and love” for one another. I know you will miss him, and so will I, but we must somehow find comfort in knowing: Our Father Is To Wise To Make A Mistake” Rest In Peace.. David…Your Special “K”
