Tractor-trailer Jackknifes on I-95 South

Maryland (October 14, 2011)  A jackknifed tractor-trailer on I-95 south forced the closure of two lanes in Hartford County.  According to the Maryland State Police the accident occurred around 11 a.m. just before Exit 80 when a tractor-trailer jackknifed in the southbound lanes.  The accident caused the truck to leak diesel fuel, forcing authorities to close the right two lanes of I-95 south.

Traffic backed up as only one lane of I-95 was open.

The Maryland State Police are investigating the accident.
