Tractor-trailer Rear-ends Car on I-95

Virginia (November 4, 2011)  A Tractor-trailer crashed into a car on I-95 south around 4:30 this morning near Exit 64 in Chesterfield County.  According to the Virginia State Police a woman operating a Toyota Avalon was stopped in the right southbound lane of I-95 without any lights on. 

The tractor-trailer tried to avoid the stopped vehicle but smashed into the rear of the Toyota, plowed through the metal guardrail before finally coming to rest in the trees on the right median.

Authorities closed one lane of I-95 south as crews worked to remove the truck from the wooded area.
Police state both drivers were injured.  Their names have not been released.

The driver of the Toyota was cited for reckless driving
