Two women killed in single vehicle crash in South Carolina on I-95

South Carolina (July 6, 2012)  Two  women were killed in an accident on Interstate 95 in Jasper County.  The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95 just after 9:00 a.m. near mm 12 according to Hardeeville Police Department.

Frances Brown Dounian, was driving a Buick when she lost control of her car after veering off to the side in an attempt to avoid debris on I-95.  As a result she slammed into a tree.  The driver and the front seat passenger, Mary Ann Collins, died at the scene.  Another passenger was transported to Memorial University Medical Center where she is in critical condition.

The accident is under investigation.
