This was my sister who was in this accident. this is a prime and perfect example of how important not only seat belts are but how something unexpected can happen so fast to anyone. This guy forever change my sister’s life. He not only “made the rest”of “her” life harder, but he brought uneccesary struggle to my neices who are only 10 and 13. My sister being a single mom was one her way to work…. so again she could bust her ass to support her girls, when she was rudely interuppted by the pure negliance of someone in a rush. NOTHING is this world is that important, that you have to put my sister’s life at risk. He sent a shock wave through our family by causing a seriously but preventable accident. He went home the same day. My sister is still in Shock Trauma fighting everyday to keep what parts of her legs she has left. Our prayers can’t save her from the devistation she has felt inside waking up the last 2 weeks trying to make sence of how she’s going to live the rest of her life without her legs. No apology was given and I’m sure he’s walking around worried about getting his car fixed as I’m writing. God says, Everything happens for a reason, right? For the rest of my life I will stay in question why this day had to happen. Pray for her, my neices and our family. Thank you:)
