Woman Killed by Drunk Driver in Daytona

Florida (June 21, 2011)  A woman was killed when a drunk driver slammed into the rear of a SUV, causing the SUV to roll over.  The Accident happened around 9:30 p.m. in the northbound lane of Interstate 95.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol, David Lee Weed, was driving north on I-95 in a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta when he hit the rear of a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban, operated by Auguste Jean.  The impact caused the SUV to rollover, killing a passenger, Gladys D. Jean.  The driver, Auguste Jean, was taken to Halifax Medical Center with serious injuries, another passenger in the vehicle Dorthwa Hines was not injured.  The Florida Highway Patrol say David Lee Weed was arrested for DUI Manslaughter and Vehicular Homicide.
