Woman killed in Motor Scooter crash

Maryland (August 4, 2011)  According to the Maryland State Police, a green Honda Accord and motor scooter collided on I-95 just before midnight near Exit 49.  Gina Teresa Griffin was killed and Victor Angelo Huntley was seriously injured, neither rider was wearing a helmet.

State Police are investigating what caused the collision between a Honda Accord and a motor scooter that were southbound on I-95.  The two riders were thrown from the scooter and may have been hit by other vehicles.  Gina Teresa Griffin died at the scene, Victor Angelo Huntley was seriously injured and transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

State Police are trying to determined who was driving the motor scooter.  The driver of the Honda Accord was not injured.
